Principal's Message

  Dear Freshman Center families,

The Freshman Center Administration hopes  you and your children have had a successful start to the 2020-2021 school year.  When students walk through our doors in September to begin their High School years, we encourage them to “Think Big” and use every day to prepare for their future.  The Freshman Center is geared toward providing students with the best possible education coupled with the necessary social emotional tools to make them better prepared for life after High School.

As High School students we encourage your child to find their passion and utilize the large pool of resources within our building to support their vision.  The faculty and staff are here to assist in any way possible.  In addition to multiple academic assistance services provided during and after school, we have incorporated programs that promote social and emotional wellness for all students.  Last year our staff was trained in positive wellness strategies such as mindfulness, meditation, and preparatory restorative justice practices.  This year we look to build upon these strategies as we implement advisory periods three times per quarter that will focus on building skills such as communication, compassion, and understanding.

We expect nothing but excellence from our students.  Our collective efforts as a community will ensure success for all.  We are a proud, we are diverse, we are passionate, we are Brentwood!

Welcome to the Freshman Center, where High School begins.
